Getting between Bideford and Barnstaple
The A39 is the main link, and it is usually a straightforward twenty-minute drive. The exceptions are worth planning around: the Torridge Bridge approach can slow at peak times, and summer weekends bring heavy holiday traffic through the whole corridor.
If you are catching a train from Barnstaple station, tell us the departure time when you book and we will work backwards from it rather than from the pickup. That small difference is what stops a delay on the A39 turning into a missed connection.
Airport transfers from Bideford
Bideford is a long way from any airport, so these are the journeys most worth booking in advance. Exeter Airport is roughly an hour and a quarter away; Bristol Airport is closer to two and a half hours from Bideford, which usually means a very early departure.
