Braunton is our closest neighbouring village, about six miles up the A361 and typically fifteen minutes from Barnstaple. Being that close means we can usually get a car to you quickly, including at short notice.
We cover Braunton itself, Velator, Wrafton and the run out to Saunton, Croyde and Georgeham. If you are carrying boards, bags or bikes, say so when you book and we will send a vehicle with the space rather than trying to make it fit on arrival.

Beach and surf journeys
The run out to Saunton Sands and Croyde is short but the parking is genuinely difficult in summer, and the coast road backs up badly on hot weekends. A taxi both ways is often faster than driving and hunting for a space.
We can carry surfboards and beach kit, but the vehicle needs to match the load, so tell us what you are bringing when you book rather than at the kerb.
Evenings out and getting home
Braunton to Barnstaple is a common evening run in both directions, and the late bus does not suit everyone. We operate all night, so there is no last-service problem and no need to leave early to catch it.
For Friday and Saturday nights, pre-booking your return is worth doing — those are our busiest hours and a booked car is a guaranteed one.
Airport and station transfers
Braunton has no railway station, so most journeys start with a run to Barnstaple station or straight through to the airport. For flights from Exeter or Bristol we quote a fixed fare, allow proper contingency on the A361, and track your flight on the return.
Give us the flight or train number and we will work the timings backwards from it.
